All previously scheduled events have been postponed and may be rescheduled pending developments of the COVID 19 virus pandemic.
Our goal is to provide educational and enrichment experiences for our members along with classes for both adults and children in the community and to seek venues for exhibition throughout Yarmouth and neighboring communities.

We are continuing our journey together attempting to discern and clarify our priorities, much of which is not under our control.
This is a time in our history we have never experienced before. It is a bewildering, anxious and exhausting time. It is a time to pause, center, and prepare ourselves to be very patient, share and support one another.
Although, “social distancing” is the order of the day, we can still share and support one another with our kind words in our emails and text messages. In addition, a personal phone call is still a wonderful gift these days. May we listen carefully to others and experience a deeper life connection. When we join together in that fashion, we can console, support and even find humor in sharing our unique humanity.
I encourage you all to adhere to a sensible regimen, be patient, hopeful and support one another. As artists we have a unique gift . . . the things we treasure within our souls can be beautifully expressed on canvas! How lovely is that!
We do not know what is ahead of us and need to plan with caution and without certainty. Our organization, YAG is important to each of us and we will be confident that we shall overcome the current cancellations, postponements and temporary obstacles.
More specifically, we’ve cancelled the March YAG Board Meeting, the April 1st General Meeting and the April Vacation Student Art Classes (4/21 thru 4/23).
Future plans will be totally dependent upon health reports, availability of sites and YAG volunteers. Therefore, we will be guided by local, state and federal decisions.
We will keep you posted on changes relative to YAG activities as we progress and overcome these serious health issues.
In the meantime, be extremely cautious and yet, have faith and know we will move beyond these unexpected times.
With a sincere heart, may I say, we shall indeed overcome!
