Helen Kelly Walker was born during the summer equinox of 1979. Her parents Lee and Elizabeth Kelly Walker met as students of Mass Art in Boston in 1965, and bought a house in Dennisport, Massachusetts in 1978. Helen and her brother James Sylvester Walker were raised with a paintbrush, and richly immersed in the fine art community.
Helen attended the School of the Museum of Fine Arts before starting a family, and laying down roots in West Yarmouth, where she continues to create and commission portraits, commercial murals, and local landscapes, and more. She is a member of The Yarmouth Art Guild, and the Provincetown Art Association and Museum.
Some of her newest works are displayed annually in the alumni art sale at SMFA at Tufts. Her art has been displayed and for sale to the public at The Dennis Public Library, and The Provincetown Art Association And Museum’s 12x12 Show member’s auction. She also commissions art locally and can be found on facebook and Instagram @helenkwalkerfineart.
